The fish (1lb under eleven stone and nearly eight feet in length) was caught on the Spanish river Ebro near Tortosa using a live 2lb mullett live bait suspended at 8 feet in 19 feet of water.
It took nearly an hour and a half to land and smashes my pb by nearly 40 lbs. It was caught with the help of millenium fishing (http://www.catfishing.co.uk) who in seven years of guiding say this is the biggest fish they have witnessed. Whilst it is not quite a record it still pulled my string. |
